Continue readingMy name is Emmelle Israel. I'm a PhD Candidate at UCLA in the Cinema and Media Studies program.
My research centers the labor, specialized skills, and embodied knowledges that media, entertainment and tech workers enact on an everyday basis to produce works of art, entertainment and culture.
I especially seek to uplift instances of labor activism and worker organizing within these industries.
